Spotify Advertising is looking for a Marketing Manager, who will be responsible for management & execution of the Advertising Business Marketing strategy in Spain. This is a contract position based in Madrid which provides cover for the incumbent Manager while they are on parental leave, for a period of 8 months (April 2026 - November 2026).
This role is part of the International team that focuses on driving awareness and consideration for Spotify’s Advertising solutions to brands and media agencies, ensuring Spotify's core ads messaging and products resonate with this audience, in a way that’s relevant to the Spanish market. Working closely with partners across the organisation, you will help create and run compelling integrated marketing campaigns, inclusive of digital, social, and experiential extensions that align with global narrative and research and drive impact. We are a fast-paced company that requires team members to be able to anticipate, react and activate teams quickly to keep pace with the market. The position demands exceptional project management and strategic thinking skills, a creative and innovative mindset, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
This position reports to the Regional Marketing Manager overseeing France and Spain and will involve close collaboration with local, regional, and international teams. The position is hybrid, with the expectation to work from our Madrid office at least 2 days per week.
What You'll Do
Execute the annual Advertising Business Marketing Strategy for Spain including paid, owned & earned marketing campaigns to drive in-market demand. Identify in-market opportunities and develop recommendations on how to build scalable and innovative programs that drive education and inspiration around Spotify Advertising, and supporting the Spanish sales team. Partner with any relevant local trade events & industry associations to increase Spotify’s industry presence through sponsorship and attendance. Own the adaptation and localisation of sales materials and programs, ensuring narratives are consistent with the global story, but are culturally relevant for the Spanish market. Help support the rollout of key B2B initiatives in France, collaborating closely with the France Marketing Manager to drive effective and timely execution. Support activity tracking and reporting by highlighting learnings and successes, while ensuring budget use is monitored and aligned with Spotify’s processes. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across global brand marketing, comms, sales and more to ensure innovative thinking, goals alignment and successful execution of marketing programs.
Who You Are
BA or equivalent degree in Marketing or a related field, with 7+ years of experience in digital media, ideally within a B2B marketing role at an ad-supported publisher or platform. Strong understanding of the Spanish advertising and media landscape, with proven experience marketing to brands and media agencies. Demonstrated experience partnering closely with Sales teams, building strong internal relationships to deliver shared commercial objectives. Proven ability to lead complex, multi-channel marketing programs, including content development, digital and live events, and initiatives with multiple deadlines. Comfortable operating autonomously as an individual contributor, owning both strategy and execution, while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams locally and internationally. Experience working with Salesforce, Splash (or similar invite management tools), and Google Workspace. Ability to combine creativity with strategic thinking, supported by strong attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills. Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken); French is a plus. Applications must be submitted with a CV/resume in English.
