Description
Spotify is seeking a dedicated and driven Analyst to join its Growth Finance team, focusing on new initiative analysis and the profitability of our partnerships and promotional offerings.
You will partner with our global Partner, Growth, Finance, and Accounting teams to build financial models reflecting proposals across business divisions. You'll also own P&L modeling of new initiatives from around the world, requiring you to engage with and understand our business as whole and translate our business goals into a driver based model of the potential financial outcomes, working across financial fields.
Through quantitative analysis and strategic thinking, you will play a critical role in supporting decision-making within Spotify’s partner and growth teams as well as the company’s overall business planning and forecasting process.
What You'll Do
Work with execution teams on bringing modeled plans to life, including setting appropriate goal posts and KPI’s, pacing to goals, and coordination of other finance functions Collaborate with partner, growth, and, regional functions to build a comprehensive view of partnership and promotional offering proposals Summarize monthly and quarterly performance, highlighting drivers, risks, and opportunities across key initiatives Assist with building assessments of the actual performance of launched initiatives Assist with broad finance initiatives focused on simplifying/reducing financial operational demands on partner groups and enabling advanced ROI analysis of marketing spend Support company forecasting, budgeting, capital budgeting, and financial operations as needed Contribute to improvements in FP&A processes, systems, and data infrastructure as the business scales
Who You Are
2+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, corporate finance, or similar analytical roles Bachelor's degree is required MBA and/or a Quantitative Master’s degree is preferred Advanced MS Excel/Google Sheets skills, experience with complex datasets, and with a deep understanding of model architecture, formula efficiency, and pivot tables Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, Looker or other Business Intelligence (BI) tools are a plus Strong quantitative, financial modeling, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex analyses into clear insights while not afraid of detail and granularity Organized, curious, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; here are various high priority workstreams ongoing at once and balance and organization will help you succeed in this role Entrepreneurial and collaborative teammate with a positive solutions-oriented approach
Where You'll Be
This role is based in Stockholm, Sweden. We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask XXXX XXXX come in 2-3 times per week.
