Senior Executive - Singapore Taxation

Role Overview

Carry out day-to-day operations of the sub-service line or team. Monitor key metrics for service delivery, identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and implement appropriate modifications.

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assist in tax advisory projects including tax restructuring, tax incentive applications, and fund tax structuring under supervision.

• Support Singapore corporate tax compliance: gather client data, prepare tax computations, submit income tax returns, and respond to queries raised by Singapore tax authorities.

• Contribute to tax due diligence engagements by identifying key risks and supporting transaction structuring.

• Conduct basic research and draft tax advices.

• Help with business development through industry research, presentation preparation, and other support for client pitch.

• Maintain client communication and assist in managing expectations and service delivery.

• Stay updated on relevant tax and industry developments

• Support interactions with client, tax authorities and regulatory bodies as needed

• Assist with business administration tasks relevant to client engagements

Preferred Qualities:

• Up to 2 years of experience in corporate tax compliance or advisory.

• Proficient in English; knowledge of additional languages like Mandarin is a plus.

• Basic understanding of Singapore corporate income tax laws; familiarity with ASEAN tax regulations is a plus but not mandatory.

• Familiarity and practice experience in a Big Four accounting firm.

• Accreditation with SCTP preferred.

• Comfortable using office tools for tax calculations and presentations.

• Works well both independently and in a team setting; demonstrates strong attention to detail.

• Communicates clearly and professionally, both in writing and verbally, comfortable engaging with clients and colleagues.

• Motivated and effective in a fast-paced culture

Education:

• Chartered Accountant/ CPA/ Degree in Accountancy
