Remote Sales Development Representative
Description
We are a U.S.-based Managed Service Provider specializing in cybersecurity, cloud solutions, compliance, and managed IT services for small and mid-sized businesses across the United States. As cyber threats continue to grow, we are expanding our outbound sales team.
Position Overview
The SDR will focus on generating qualified opportunities for cybersecurity services such as:
- Managed Detection & Response (MDR)
- Security Operations Center (SOC) services
- Endpoint Protection
- Compliance (HIPAA, CMMC, SOC 2 readiness)
- Microsoft 365 security hardening
- Vulnerability assessments
This role requires confidence discussing technology and security risks with business owners, IT managers, and C-level executives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting targeting U.S. SMBs
- Identify cybersecurity pain points and risk exposure
- Educate prospects on modern cyber threats (ransomware, phishing, data breaches)
- Book qualified discovery calls for cybersecurity assessments
- Maintain CRM documentation and track pipeline progress
- Work closely with the sales and technical pre-sales teams
Qualifications
- 1–3 years SDR or B2B outbound sales experience
- IT, cybersecurity, or MSP background strongly preferred
- Experience speaking with U.S.-based decision-makers
- Strong understanding of basic cybersecurity concepts
- Comfortable working EST/CST hours
