CERTIFIED REGISTERED NURSE ANESTHETIST (CRNA)

LOCATION: VACAVILLE, CA

SETTING: HOSPITAL

TERM: 3 MONTHS WITH A POTENTIAL FOR EXTENSION

SHIFT SCHEDULE: MON-FRI 4X10’S WEEKLY (12 HOUR SHIFTS IN OB)

PAY RATE: $260/HOUR

A hospital in Vallejo, CA, is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to provide coverage for a variety of surgical cases, including General, Orthopedic, Urology, Gynecology, Gastrointestinal, Head & Neck, Thoracic, Neurosurgery, ENT, and Obstetrics (OB experience highly preferred, but not required). Patient population is all adults. No cardiac cases and no expected pediatrics.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF CERTIFIED REGISTERED NURSE ANESTHETIST (CRNA):

• Conduct pre-anesthesia patient assessments.
• Educate patients and families on anesthesia and post-procedure recovery.
• Administer anesthesia through various methods (injection, inhalation, or oral medication).
• Monitor patients during surgery and adjust anesthesia as needed.
• Ensure patient safety during anesthesia recovery.
• Maintain and operate anesthesia equipment.
• Document all patient care and anesthesia records in the Cerner EMR system.
• Stay updated on current anesthesia practices.

QUALIFICATIONS OF CERTIFIED REGISTERED NURSE ANESTHETIST (CRNA):

• Active California CRNA license
• Board Certification
• Proficiency in Cerner EMR
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Proof of COVID vaccination
