Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Technical SEO Specialist with 4-6 years of hands-on experience to improve website performance, crawlability and search engine visibility. The ideal candidate will work closely with content, development and marketing teams to implement SEO best practices and resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting SEO Site Audits: Perform regular technical SEO audits to identify issues related to crawlability, indexing, site structure, and on-page SEO.
• Optimizing Crawl Budget and Indexing: Ensure efficient crawling and indexing through proper use of robots.txt, XML sitemaps, canonical tags and internal linking.
• Enhancing Website Performance and Speed: Improve page load times and overall site performance by addressing technical bottlenecks and optimizing Core Web Vitals.
• Implementing Technical SEO Best Practices: Handle URL structures, redirects, pagination and duplicate content issues effectively.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Track technical SEO performance metrics and collaborate with content and development teams for implementation.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of SEO Tools and Software: Hands-on experience with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs or SEMrush.
• Expertise in Core Web Vitals and Page Speed: Strong understanding of LCP, CLS, INP, and techniques to improve website speed and user experience.
• Proficiency in Structured Data and Schema Markup: Experience implementing and validating schema to enhance search appearance and rich results.
• Technical Understanding of Web Technologies: Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how they impact SEO.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify issues and recommend technical SEO solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Log File Analysis: Ability to analyze server logs to understand search engine crawl behavior and optimize crawl efficiency.
• Hands-on Experience with CMS Platforms: Working knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms and their SEO implications.
• Understanding of Website Architecture: Ability to optimize internal linking, navigation, and site hierarchy for better SEO performance.
• Strong Collaboration Skills: Ability to work closely with developers, product teams, and content teams for SEO implementation.
