Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Account Officer to manage financial records, support daily accounting operations, and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and committed to maintaining financial integrity while supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the accounting system
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
- Process invoices, payments, and expense documentation
- Monitor cash flow and maintain proper financial records
- Assist in budget preparation and cost control
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Support audit processes and provide required documentation
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1–3 years relevant accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Strong organizational and time management skills
