Software Development Engineer - Automation (Java, Python, JavaScript)

Schedule: 8AM - 5PM, Tuesday - Saturday

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Software Development Engineer for Automation designs and develops scalable automation frameworks and tools that support web and API testing. This role applies strong software engineering practices to modernize automation infrastructure and improve testing efficiency while collaborating closely with QA, Development, and DevOps teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.

•    Develop reusable libraries and tools for automation infrastructure.

•    Improve automation execution, reliability, and reporting.

•    Collaborate with QA, Development, and DevOps teams to enhance testing processes.

•    Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.

•    Evaluate and implement new automation technologies and tools.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

•    At least 6 years of software development experience.

•    Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript.

•    Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab Cl).

•    Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms is an advantage.

•    Strong analytical, collaboration, and communication skills.
