Market Support Manager
Description
We are a Singapore-based sports distribution group operating across multiple countries, specializing in badminton and multi-sport products. We are expanding our presence in Sri Lanka and are looking for a dynamic individual to support market development and execution locally.
Role Overview
This role focuses on building strong market connections and executing on-ground activities in Sri Lanka, Nepal, Indonesia working closely with our Singapore headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate with local distributors
Develop relationships with:
Sports dealers and retailers
Badminton academies and coaches
Support tournaments, demo events, and brand promotions
Expand dealer network across Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh
Provide regular market feedback and reporting
Ensure alignment with HQ strategy
Important Note
This is a non-commercial role
Pricing, contracts, and shipments are handled by Singapore HQ
Ideal Candidate Requirement
Strong network in Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh sports / badminton ecosystem
Experience in sports goods, retail, or distribution
Good understanding of local dealer and academy networks
Self-driven and able to work independently
Excellent relationship-building skills
Preferred
Background as player / coach / sports industry professional
Existing connections with academies and retailers
Compensation
Monthly retainer + performance-based incentives
Travel and approved expenses reimbursed
