Monitoring Manager

We are looking for a Monitoring Manager to join a newly established Incident Management team working with a critical workshop application used across global service operations. The system you will support is essential for workshop functionality, and when it is unavailable, business-critical processes are directly impacted. Your role is focused on ensuring strong monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities to detect issues early and enable efficient incident response.

You will collaborate closely with development teams, field quality engineers and other stakeholders to improve observability and strengthen overall system reliability. The role also includes acting as Incident Manager in scheduled 24/7 on-call rotations, leading communication and coordination during major incidents.

Responsibilities:

• Drive process improvements within incident management, with a focus on monitoring capabilities
• Collaborate across teams to define monitoring needs, enhance observability and ensure availability of critical data
• Lead incident handling from detection through resolution and communication
• Analyze, prioritize and escalate incidents when necessary
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and end-users throughout the incident process
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis and facilitate Lessons Learned sessions

Requirements:

• Experience working as an Incident Manager
• Experience with Datadog or comparable monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus)
• Ability and willingness to work scheduled 24/7 on-call rotations
• Fluency in English and Swedish

Meriting:

• Knowledge of electrical or embedded systems in vehicle environments
• Software development experience
