Diagnostic Method Engineer
Description
We are looking for a Diagnostic Method Engineer to strengthen the development of diagnostic and troubleshooting support for workshop mechanics. In this assignment, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between product development and aftermarket service to ensure that vehicles receive world-class diagnostic functionality. The role includes close collaboration with system and function owners within development projects and implementing diagnostic logic and troubleshooting guidance using JavaScript/TypeScript and React. Testing will be performed on rigs or directly on vehicles in the workshop environment.
Requirements:
- M.Sc. in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience working with diagnostics, troubleshooting or vehicle-related systems
- Fluent in Swedish and English
- Experience using JavaScript/TypeScript and React
- Ability to test implementations on rigs or vehicles
- Comfortable collaborating across functions and working hands-on in workshop environments
Meriting:
- Knowledge of electrical systems or embedded systems in commercial or heavy-duty vehicles
- Experience with vehicle communication
- C/CE/D driver’s license

Start: 2026-01-19 End: 2028-01-14 Location: Stockholm 2-3 days on site
