📋 Description

• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools. • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure, including maintaining infrastructure documentation. • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies to ensure system resilience. • Provide support to users, addressing their system-related issues • Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower human intervention time on tasks • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem-resolution • Create and maintain detailed system documentation, guides, and best practices. • Participate in knowledge-sharing activities to enhance the skills of peers and community users. • Stay updated with the latest system technologies and trends, and proactively recommend improvements in system processes to align with industry best practices.

• Strong knowledge of operating systems, application software, and system management tools. • Proficiency in system monitoring and performance optimization techniques. • Understanding of security best practices, backup strategies, and system redundancy. • Ability to write and maintain automation scripts to improve efficiency. • Excellent troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities. • Strong documentation and technical writing skills. • Effective communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to liaise with vendors and IT personnel for issue resolution. • Continuous learning mindset to keep up with evolving technologies. • Proven experience in system administration, infrastructure management, or a similar role. • Hands-on experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems and applications. • Experience in monitoring and testing application performance and identifying optimizations. • Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages for system efficiency. • Experience maintaining security and backup strategies to ensure system resilience. • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve technical issues. • Experience in creating and maintaining system documentation, technical guides, and best practices.
