📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain core components of our Quote Engine in production. • Develop scalable, concurrent, and resilient services using modern patterns. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Vendor Management) to deliver features aligned with business goals. • Implement event-driven and queue-based architectures with a focus on durability and fault tolerance. • Contribute to operational excellence by writing observable, maintainable, and secure systems. • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality releases. • Takes on additional responsibilities and projects as needed to support the success of the team and organization.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years experience deg, building, and maintaining features across backend (PHP, Python, or Go) and frontend (React) with a 50/50 focus. • Proven experience building highly scalable, concurrent systems. • Strong knowledge of: Multithreaded architectures, concurrency primitives, and non-blocking I/O. • Distributed systems design (CAP trade-offs, consistency models). • Event-driven architectures and microservices (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, Service Bus). • Fault tolerance, back-pressure strategies, and circuit breakers. • Familiarity with Azure (preferred) or other cloud platforms, including serverless orchestration. • Solid understanding of authentication/security standards (OAuth 2.0, mTLS, secrets management).
