Job Summary

The post holder will be responsible for managing the development, production and delivery of complex statistical and qualitative and/or quantitative reports for emergency and non-emergency or corporate activity based information for Executive Directors, Senior Managers and external Health and Social Care Organisations or agencies as required. He/she will provide specialist knowledge in interpretation and analysis of information and definition of reporting/information requirements and ensure that the methods of information delivery are appropriate, meeting the needs of information users both in terms of information requirements and user technical/strategic capabilities.

The post holder will work as part of team in which each member possesses particular knowledge or skills which they will be encouraged to develop.

In addition, members of the team will be encouraged to work flexibly so that skills transfer can take place to ensure each staff member has the full understanding and knowledge of systems, processes; providing individual development opportunities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

To produce detailed and timely Trust level corporate activity reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis among for distribution to Executive Directors, Area Managers and other senior staff within the organisation.

To produce reports and analysis to investigate activity trends within the Trust as required and that relevant data cleaning has taken place to ensure the accuracy of the information provided.

To undertake analysis of data and produce reports to complete returns to the Department of Health, Health and Social Care Board, other Health and Social Care agencies or stakeholders as required.

To act as a point of contact for queries from external stakeholders in relation to statutory returns.

To communicate complex findings in a coherent way to staff and relevant stakeholders at all levels ensuring that key findings are communicated in a relevant and comprehensive manner.
