Manufacturing Engineer (Contract Outside IR35) We are currently partnering with a leading organisation in the automotive sector who are looking to engage an experienced Manufacturing Engineer on an outside IR35 contract basis.
This is an initial 3–6 month contract, offering a highly competitive day rate outside IR35. This is a key role within the business, focused on reviewing, documenting, and standardising existing and new processes, helping to establish a unified approach to manufacturing operations.
Manufacturing Engineer Contract (Outside IR35) Monday - Friday Minworth Immediate Start
Manufacturing Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Review current manufacturing processes across multiple sites to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities
- Develop, document, and implement standardised operating procedures (SOPs)
- Collaborate with site leadership, engineering, and production teams to ensure alignment and adoption
- Drive best practice in process governance, documentation, and continuous improvement
- Support change management initiatives to embed new standards effectively across the organisation
Manufacturing Engineer Key Requirements:
- Strong background within automotive manufacturing environments
- Proven experience in process mapping, documentation, and standardisation
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational excellence frameworks
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and communication skills
