Business Support Manager

£300 per day | Hybrid (London) | Immediate start

We are supporting a leading not-for-profit organisation within the science sector to appoint an Interim Business Support Manager/Project Lead. This is a key role providing operational and project support to a senior executive office during a period of transition.

This position will focus on driving day-to-day operational delivery, coordinating projects, and supporting organisational design and planning activities across a complex, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on operational and project support to a senior leadership team
  • Coordinate and deliver key projects and initiatives, ensuring timelines and priorities are met
  • Support organisational planning, including structures, workflows, and team coordination
  • Prepare briefings, reports, and communications for senior stakeholders
  • Manage and track actions, deliverables, and follow-ups from key meetings
  • Act as a central point of coordination across teams, ensuring alignment and progress

About You

  • Proven experience as a Business Support Manager, Project Manager, Chief of Staff, Executive Assistant with strong focus on project delivery
  • Strong project delivery and organisational skills within complex environments
  • Ability to operate at pace, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience within a life sciences, healthcare, or similarly technical environment is mandatory
  • Available at short notice or immediately
