Day-to-day of the role:
Credit Control and Invoices:
Assist with the credit control process.
Process customer invoices, credit notes, and payments within the accounting system for multiple entities in various currencies.
Resolve invoice queries and proactively ensure customers pay on time.
Build and maintain excellent client relationships to resolve issues promptly.
Monitor Accounts Receivable, follow up on invoices coming payable and those overdue with relevant Accounts Payable departments.
Liaise with consultants to ensure timely debt recovery.
General Finance Support:
Prepare bank reconciliations.
Assist in collecting consultants’ time sheets in a timely manner.
Maintain both hard and soft filing systems of financial records.
Provide general assistance to the finance team, including reporting, audit, and other ad hoc projects.
Occasionally assist with accounts payable processes.
Provide support in other business operations areas as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and/or general ledger.
- First-class communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Team player mentality with a focus on team achievements.
- Superb interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead.
- Business language fluency in English.
- Ability to thrive in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational skills.
