THE ORGANISATION

This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth functioning of their finance operations across various regions. The team supports high-volume transaction processing, month-end reconciliations, and process improvements, working closely with stakeholders to drive efficiency. THE ROLE

As Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day transactional finance activities, including invoice processing, vendor management, and bank reconciliation automation. You will lead a small team, fostering their development and ensuring timely, accurate processing aligned with internal controls and compliance standards. Your role includes supporting process automation initiatives, managing stakeholder relationships, and contributing to month-end and audit preparations. This position offers a dynamic environment with many ongoing projects, including a major purchase-to-pay system upgrade.

  • Manage end-to-end invoice processing for multiple business units
  • Lead and mentor a team of 2 direct reports in a high-volume environment
  • Oversee automation of bank reconciliations and AP workflows
  • Maintain vendor records, onboarding, and compliance with control policies
  • Support period-end reconciliations, audit readiness, and process improvement projects
  • Handle internal stakeholder queries, foster collaboration, and ensure excellent customer service

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You will bring proven experience managing transactional accounts payable teams within large, international organisations. Your technical proficiency with ERP systems will support your ability to lead automation and process improvements. Strong leadership, organisational skills, and a strategic mindset are essential to manage a diverse workload and develop your team.

  • Minimum 3 years in supervising AP teams within a global business
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably MS Dynamics or similar
  • Demonstrable success in process automation and streamlining workflows
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Capable of managing large datasets, producing management reports, and supporting month-end close
