Role Overview - KS2 Teacher

As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and motivate pupils across Key Stage 2. The KS2 Teacher will plan engaging and creative lessons, assess pupil progress effectively, and contribute to the wider school community in Waltham Forest.

Responsibilities of the KS2 Teacher

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons as a KS2 Teacher aligned with the national curriculum

• Monitor and assess pupil progress to ensure strong academic outcomes

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment as a KS2 Teacher

• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

• Communicate effectively with parents and carers

Requirements for the KS2 Teacher

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching as a KS2 Teacher or within Key Stage 2

• Strong classroom management skills

• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching

• A commitment to supporting all learners as a KS2 Teacher
