Part time self-employed communal block cleaner (Zones 1-3) - Weekday mornings: 15 hours per week

Join Our Team as a Self-Employed Contract Cleaner

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive, hardworking self-employed cleaner to join our team.

You'll be performing:

• Commercial communal block cleaning by yourself (open areas of blocks of flats)
• Occasional domestic indoor cleaning by yourself (residents' homes)
• Sometimes working independently and sometimes alongside the boss and other contractors

Hours and Pay

• A minimum of 15 hours of work per week is guaranteed, rising to 20-25 hours with overtime
• Shifts are available Monday to Friday during daytime with a 7-9am start, until 3-5pm (depending on shift pattern)
• Flexible scheduling to fit around your commitments (just let us know what suits you)
• Excellent hourly rate of £15 per hour, with performance-related bonuses and overtime opportunities depending on client needs and seasonality

Requirements

• At least two years of professional cleaning experience
• Must reside or be able to travel within London Zones 1-3 (e.g. City of London and North London, including Old Street, Angel, Camden, Kentish Town)
• Physically able to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting (e.g. taking refuse bags down flights of stairs to bin areas)
• Able to work independently and take initiative as well as part of a team
• Punctual and reliable time-keeping essential
• Trustworthy and able to look after keys
• Good references essential
