  • Hybrid Working (3 Days in Office)**

We’re supporting a fast-paced distribution and logistics business that is looking to appoint a Revenue Analyst on a 6-month fixed term contract.

This is a commercially focused role with a clear objective: to ensure revenue is accurately captured, billed, and maximised in line with contractual agreements. You’ll work across a large, multi-site operation, analysing contracts and financial data to identify revenue opportunities and improve billing accuracy.

The Role

Working closely with the commercial finance team and operational stakeholders, you’ll take ownership of reviewing customer agreements, analysing billing data, and identifying areas of revenue leakage. You’ll play a key role in supporting the business to recover missed revenue opportunities while also improving processes to ensure future accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret customer contracts to identify billable services, costs, and commercial terms
  • Analyse large data sets to compare contracted revenue against actual billing and identify discrepancies
  • Perform detailed reconciliations to quantify underbilling or missed revenue opportunities
  • Partner with operational and commercial teams to support recovery of lost revenue
  • Present findings and insights clearly to senior stakeholders, supporting commercial decision-making
  • Track and report on revenue recovery activity and performance against targets
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the customer portfolio
  • Recommend and implement improvements to billing processes, controls, and systems
  • Support wider finance and commercial teams with ad-hoc analysis and reporting

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a revenue, commercial finance, or analytical role
  • Strong ability to analyse and interpret large, complex data sets
  • Experience reviewing or working with contracts and commercial terms
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, investigative mindset
  • Able to manage workload independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or QBE desirable

Why Join?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, commercially driven organisation where you’ll have real impact on revenue performance. You’ll gain exposure to senior stakeholders and play a key role in improving financial outcomes across a complex, multi-site operation.

If you’re a commercially minded analyst with strong data skills and a passion for driving revenue performance, we’d love to hear from you.
