Learning Support Assistant (Core Subjects) - Full-Time (5 Days per Week) Location: Croydon | Secondary Schools

Are you a passionate and knowledgeable Learning Support Assistant looking to make a real impact in secondary education? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced LSA to support students across core subjects in a welcoming and forward-thinking school environment in Croydon.

This is a full-time, 5 days per week position, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic classroom setting and is committed to helping young people achieve their full potential.

The Role:

• Provide in-class support across core subjects (English, Maths, Science)
• Work closely with teachers to deliver tailored support to students
• Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), adapting learning strategies where necessary
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Monitor and track student progress, offering feedback and encouragement

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant in a secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge in at least one core subject
• Solid understanding of SEN and effective support strategies
• A degree is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive, patient, and adaptable approach
