Data Project Manager

Data Project Manager (Contract) Location: Belfast (2 days per week) / Remote Duration: 12 months Engagement: Day Rate (Umbrella)

We're supporting a Tier 1 Investment Banking client on a key hire within their Data & Regulatory Operations function, focused on delivering large-scale data and regulatory change initiatives.

This role sits within a high-performing Strategic Change team, driving enterprise-level programmes including reference data transformation, regulatory initiatives, and emerging GenAI solutioning.

The Role This is a hands-on Project Management position with a strong emphasis on governance, delivery tracking, and stakeholder coordination. You'll play a central role in ensuring programme execution across a complex, multi-stakeholder environment spanning Operations and Technology.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end governance and delivery tracking across a major reference data programme
• Managing RAID logs, dependencies, timelines, and action tracking
• Producing high-quality governance decks for senior stakeholders and steering committees
• Coordinating across Operations, Technology, and business teams
• Maintaining accurate and structured project documentation
• Supporting wider change initiatives within Data & Regulatory Operations

Experience Required

• 5+ years Project Management experience within Financial Services
• Strong governance, reporting, and stakeholder management experience
• Proven track record managing project documentation (plans, RAID, minutes)
• Experience delivering within data or regulatory change environments
• Familiarity with reference data or data management principles
• Exposure to AI/GenAI initiatives is advantageous
