A leading Engineering Company is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales Order Processor on a fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring seamless order management and customer satisfaction by accurately processing orders and supporting internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input customer orders into ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Paragon, Infor)
- Prepare order acknowledgements, review contracts, and complete export documentation
- Investigate and resolve issues with orders, such as pricing or lead time discrepancies
- Validate order details, including product codes, quantities, pricing, and shipping information
- Liaise with customers to resolve queries and confirm order details
- Work closely with internal departments and senior management to support smooth operations
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will be proactive, meticulous, and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong computer skills, including Excel, and experience with ERP/MRP systems
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to accurately process high volumes of data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in sales administration, order processing, or customer support
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Strong time management and organisational skills
