Payroll Administrator
Description
Robert Half Ltd are working with an organisation based in Abingdon that are looking for a Payroll Assistant to join them on a temporary basis. Reporting to a senior payroll lead, you will support payroll delivery, reconciliation, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process payroll data accurately and on time
- Validate calculations and support final payroll checks
- Complete monthly variance reconciliations and reporting
- Act as a key contact for HR and employee payroll queries
- Build strong relationships with HR to support a collaborative approach
- Maintain compliance with payroll policies and controls
- Assist with improving and documenting payroll processes
Skills & Experience
- Experience in payroll or finance administration
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Confident communicator with stakeholder-facing experience
- Proficiency in payroll systems and Excel
