Huntswood is looking for a talented Telephony Complaint handler with experience in financial services to join an exciting project with the Motor Finance Sector

Start Date: Monday 7th April Day Rate: £160 a day IR35 Status: Husp Umbrella only recruitment - This is only available to individuals working via Husp Umbrella company, we can assist you with this Location: Working from home Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5pm Duration: 6 month contract

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you'll be the driving force behind high-quality customer support, handling inbound and outbound calls with confidence and clarity. You'll guide customers, brokers and CMCs through the Motor Finance Redress Scheme, review evidence, keep sharp case notes and quickly escalate anything complex. Working to clear scripts, SOPs and regulatory standards, you'll thrive in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment where accuracy and great service really matter.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in high-volume telephony, contact centre work, regulated complaint handling, or casework
  • Strong verbal communication, active listening, and clear written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to analyse structured information
  • Confidence explaining regulated processes and complex decisions in a customer-friendly way
  • Good IT literacy, accurate data entry, and experience updating case management systems
  • Ability to work effectively in an SLA-driven environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines

Desirable Knowledge

  • Experience in financial services or motor finance-related roles
  • Understanding of FCA DISP rules, Consumer Duty, and financial services redress frameworks
  • Familiarity with Claims Management Companies (CMCs) and FOS escalation processes
