**Purchase Ledger Clerk (Hybrid)

  • Chelmsford | Up to £30,000 | 12-Month FTC**

Looking for a stable finance role with hybrid flexibility and hands-on exposure to Accounts Payable, month-end, and audit processes? Join our supportive finance team as a Purchase Ledger Clerk.

Your Role

  • Process and register supplier invoices accurately
  • Reconcile supplier accounts, including foreign currency
  • Review statements and chase missing invoices
  • Manage invoice approvals and resolve queries
  • Support month-end reporting and year-end audits
  • Run purchase ledger reports and highlight issues
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams

You’ll Bring

  • Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable experience
  • Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
  • Good Excel and finance system knowledge
  • Confidence in communicating with suppliers
  • Foreign currency experience is a bonus
