Pro Bono Coordinator

Our hugely successful US law firm client is seeking a Pro Bono Coordinator to join their London office on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. The department provides free legal advice to eligible clients who cannot afford legal representation and is seeking someone with strong organisational and time-management skills.

  • Salary to £50,000
  • 12-month fixed-term contract

  • 3 days in the office / 2 days remote

Pro Bono Coordinator Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the day-to-day coordination of the firm’s international pro bono practice
  • Organise and support training sessions for volunteer lawyers and other stakeholders
  • Manage lawyer participation schedules and oversee processes for follow-up legal work
  • Undertake research and analysis of existing and prospective pro bono matters to support the objectives of the international pro bono team
  • Support the onboarding and closure of pro bono matters
  • Coordinate pro bono communications, drafting internal content, and working closely with the business development and communications teams

Pro Bono Coordinator Skills & Requirements:

  • One of the following is essential
  • experience within a commercial law firm, a law degree, law conversion course, or equivalent
  • Experience in coordinating pro bono clinics or projects highly advantageous
  • A genuine interest in pro bono work and access to legal support programmes
  • Strong IT and database skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
