Description

We have a brand new, exciting opportunity for a Resident Data Officer (12 month FTC) to join our team!

In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting the organisation's Annual Delivery Plan and Attitudes, Respects and Rights strategy. The postholder will be responsible for collecting, recording, and maintaining high-quality resident data to ensure the organisation meets regulatory requirements

We own and manage c.8,000 homes in the east of England, working closely with other agencies and stakeholders within our communities. We build on the good foundations we have in place in being a customer-centric organisation, investing in our existing homes - including our zero-carbon journey - as well as building new homes.

Requirements

Outline of Key Responsibilities...

  • Proactively contact residents using a variety of methods (including telephone, email and digital surveys) to collect resident data
  • Speak confidently and sensitively with residents about personal and sensitive information, including protected characteristics, health considerations, language needs, and support requirements
  • Build trust with residents, clearly explaining why data is being collected and how it will be used to improve services
  • Apply an individualised service approach, adapting communication style to meet the needs of each resident
  • Accurately input resident data into the organisation's housing management system and associated CRM platforms
  • Ensure all data is recorded consistently, in line with data protection requirements and internal data quality standards

We are looking for someone who has...

  • Computer literacy and ability to learn new IT systems
  • Experience of working in a customer-facing role, speaking directly with customers or residents
  • Experience of collecting, recording, and maintaining accurate data
  • Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and handling personal and sensitive information appropriately
  • Knowledge of delivering an individualised, person-centred service
