About the Role

An opportunity is available for a Band 7 Physiotherapist to join the Respiratory & Mobility Team in Slough. This ongoing locum position offers up to £32 per hour and provides the chance to work within a dynamic acute setting, supporting patients across rehabilitation and general medical wards.

You will play a key role in delivering specialist physiotherapy interventions for patients with respiratory conditions and mobility needs, contributing to improved functional outcomes and safe discharge planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment for patients within respiratory and general medical wards.
  • Manage a complex caseload, prioritising rehabilitation and mobility optimisation.
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans aligned with best practice.
  • Support respiratory management, including airway clearance techniques and functional mobility progression.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with professional standards.
  • Contribute to service development and support junior staff where appropriate.

Requirements

  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
  • Significant post-qualification experience, including respiratory and acute medical caseloads.
  • Ability to work independently within a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Valid driving licence.
