What is a typical week like as our HR Project Implementation Co-ordinator?

As our HR Project Implementation Co-ordinator, you will work alongside the HR & Wellbeing Team, sitting within the wider People & Culture Directorate. You will work with the HR & Wellbeing Manager and the Corporate Head of HR & Wellbeing to support service reviews and ultimately be responsible for the successful delivery of a recently transformed Repairs Service.

The role is defined as being flexible under our agile working policy, so there is plenty of opportunity to work from home or elsewhere, however, a majority of the work is hands on and requires working closely with Team Leaders and Operatives in the Grimsby and Boston offices.

A typical day will include:

  • Assist in the coordination of successful completion of the repairs project deliverables, identifying risks and problems.
  • Manage, monitor, and control the completed stabilisation project using the right tools and methodologies to ensure efficient and effective project management.
  • Monitor sickness absence within the business area, co-ordinating Return to Work and Long-Term Sickness meetings
  • Work with the Repairs team to capture monthly working hours, ensuring colleagues remain within the limits of the Working Time Regulations
  • Work closely with the Planning Team to ensure the new call out rota is implemented effectively, providing feedback to the Team Leaders and the HR & Wellbeing Repairs Business Partner.
  • Work closely with the Organisation Development Team to co-ordinate the Repairs colleagues training matrix
  • Monitor monthly overtime and expense claims, checking against relevant job files
  • Ensure daily van checks are carried out, liaising with H&S to ensure all necessary equipment is available
  • Provide accurate colleague information to ensure processes are supported by relevant data.
  • Support and guide managers and colleagues following a period of change and transformation
  • Assist with the development of project documents, ensure communication is timely and relevant
  • Coordinate and facilitate bi-monthly group progress meetings; document and share agendas and manage the minutes.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who combines strong organisational skills with a passion for people, communication and continuous improvement.

  • CIPD qualified, retaining membership
  • GCSE grade C and above (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Intermediate or advanced qualification in HR or Employment Law
  • Ability to negotiate effectively
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment where planning, organising, prioritising and multi-tasking were required
  • A solid knowledge of current Employment Law and best practice
  • Competent in key MS Office applications of Word, Excel and use of MS Teams and O365 suite of products along with knowledge of HRIS
  • High communication skills, both oral and written
  • Car owner and driver as travelling between sites is essential

It would be great if you had:

  • Experience within the Housing sector, or have Housing sector knowledge
  • Worked within a Trades industry
