eCare Trainer
Description
This role is a fixed term contract.
Clearance: DBS
Contract Length: These are fixed term roles for 3-months, however there might be a requirement to extend these bookings.
Location: Truro - No remote working, all training will be delivered face to face on sites across the County. Must be prepared to work outside normal office hours including evenings & weekends as required. Willing to work at all training sites throughout Cornwall. Willing to travel, attend training Car driver with full UK driving license and willing to drive to deliver training throughout the Health Community 3 or 4 days in every week as required. Use of VDU equipment on a daily basis often for prolonged periods of time with breaks Smart appearance, able to perform duties, will often have to carry presentation equipment and laptops to training venues
MUST HAVE
- PAS or similar system and or NHS or health related software work experience
- Informal coaching or training experience
DESIRABLE
- Awareness of NHS health and safety policy
- Experience of writing training materials, lesson planning experience, Awareness of IT issues.
- IT qualification
- Knowledge of NHS Mail
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Educated to diploma level or has the equivalent hands-on IT experience.
- Ability to identify and solve a range of problems related to IT training delivery including common hardware and software errors.
- Advanced IT skills for use of software, including excel.
- Informal coaching or teaching experience
- Ability to explain complex subjects in clear concise understandable terms to staff with varying knowledge levels of the subject matter
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills and experience
- Excellent presentation & organisational skills and experience
- Ability to motivate, encourage and counsel learners
- Ability to engage with existing and future e-learning forms of course delivery and learner support
- Ability to work to the quality standards set by Cornwall IT Services
- Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues applicable to IT equipment and the classroom environment
