ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client operates within a highly regulated environment with growing international activity. Due to increasing demand, they are seeking a proactive and organised Operations Assistant to join their Logistics team on a part-time basis.

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Logistics, this role plays a key part in ensuring goods in and out are managed efficiently, compliantly and with excellent stakeholder engagement across the business.

THE OPERATIONS ASSISTANT ROLE

As Operations Assistant, you will support the logistics function with the timely coordination of goods in and goods out activities.

You will assist with warehouse and stock management, provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, and engage across the wider business to ensure objectives are met.

With international operations increasing, you will need strong attention to detail to ensure compliance with relevant regulations. This is a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment where prioritisation and organisation are key.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Experience in two or more of the following: Logistics, Imports, Exports, Supply Chain, or Defence
• Strong customer service experience (internal & external stakeholders)
• Warehouse and stock management experience
• Experience using ERP systems
• Excellent organisational and IT skills
• Ability to prioritise in time-sensitive situations
• Self-motivated and accountable decision-maker
• SC clearance eligibility
