Lead/Enterprise Architect – Endur

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Endur Architect to lead the end-to-end technical architecture for the Products ETRM transformation under Project Chloe. This role will be accountable for deg, governing, and assuring the implementation of the new ETRM platform replacing DEX.
The Endur Architect will act as a recognized authority within the organization, providing strategic technical leadership across integration, hosting, security, data, and application architecture domains. This position requires strong engagement with senior business leadership (JGA/JGB) and cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities****1. Architecture Leadership & Design
- Own and lead end-to-end technical architecture for the ETRM platform implementation.
- Define solution architecture covering:
- Application architecture (Endur configuration & customization)
- Integration architecture (APIs, middleware, messaging)
- Hosting & infrastructure (Cloud/Hybrid)
- Security & access controls
- Data architecture & reporting integration
- Ensure alignment with enterprise reference architectures and IT strategic roadmaps.
- Sign off on architectural decisions and justified exceptions within governance boundaries.
Openlink Endur Expertise
- Act as SME for Openlink Endur within Trading & Supply.
- Lead configuration and architectural design of:
- Trade capture & lifecycle management
- Risk, P&L, and exposure reporting
- Scheduling & logistics
- Settlements & invoicing
- Market data & valuation models
- Define integration approach between Endur and upstream/downstream systems (SAP, finance, risk analytics, logistics, etc.).
- Drive performance optimization and scalability for high-volume trading environments.
3. Transformation & Innovation
- Diagnose and resolve complex, non-routine architectural challenges.
- Adapt best practices from global markets and industry standards.
- Author and evolve company architecture standards and TOE standards where required.
- Identify simplification and modernization opportunities across the IT landscape.
- Contribute to redesign of business processes and business data models in collaboration with:
- Process Owners
- Information & Data Definition Owners
- Enterprise Architecture teams
4. Governance & Stakeholder Management
- Represent architecture authority for the ETRM transformation.
- Manage relationships with very senior business stakeholders (JGA/JGB).
- Communicate architectural viewpoints clearly across executive, business, and technical audiences.
- Provide architectural assurance across project lifecycle stages.
- Mentor and develop domain experts within the organization.
Mandatory Skills & Experience****Technical Expertise
- 12+ years IT experience with strong focus on ETRM architecture.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Openlink Endur implementation.
- Strong understanding of:
- Trading & Supply (Crude & Products preferred)
- Trade lifecycle & risk management
- Integration patterns (API, ESB, event-driven architecture)
- Data modeling & reporting architecture
- Cloud and hybrid hosting environments
- Security architecture in trading systems
Business & Domain
- Strong understanding of energy trading, commodities, or downstream operations.
- Ability to link business strategy with technical architecture decisions.
- Experience working on large-scale ETRM transformation programs.
