Position: Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer Organisation: Midlands Local Authority Duration: 3 months initial with the possibility of extension thereafter Working Pattern: Full/Part Time Working Arrangement: Remote working Hourly Rate: Up to £60 per hour Umbrella

The ideal candidate will have experience in handling commercial contracts matters and can demonstrate prior experience working on behalf of Local Authorities.

Duties may include:

• Managing a varied commercial contracts caseload
• Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements
• Advising on and preparing grant funding agreements
• Negotiating with third parties and representing the Council’s interests
