Executive Assistant to Founder (Business, Personal & Driving Support)
Contract: 3–6 months (with potential to extend)
Time: 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday)
Location: Midlands / London (travel required)
Overview
We are seeking an exceptional, discreet, and highly organised Executive Assistant to support the Founder & CEO of Learning DNA during a critical period of growth, fundraising, and operational change.
This is a true right-hand role, combining business support, personal assistance, and driving/logistics. The purpose of the role is simple: to materially reduce cognitive load and friction across both professional and personal life, allowing the Founder to focus on high-value decision-making.
This role suits someone who is calm, practical, proactive, and takes pride in quietly making life run smoothly.
Core Responsibilities****Executive & Business Support
- Full ownership of inbox and calendar management
- Prioritising communications and drafting responses where appropriate
- Scheduling meetings, calls, travel, and logistics with minimal input
- Preparing meeting briefs, agendas, and follow-ups
- Tracking actions and ensuring tasks are completed without prompting
- Liaising with investors, advisors, lawyers, accountants, and other stakeholders
- Handling confidential information with discretion and sound judgement
Personal & Family Support
- Managing personal admin to reduce overall load, including:
- Booking family and personal appointments (medical, school, household, etc.)
- Managing reminders and deadlines
- Researching and purchasing gifts (birthdays, events, Christmas, etc.)
- Coordinating family logistics where required
- Acting as a trusted point of coordination across work and personal life
- Anticipating needs and handling tasks proactively, not reactively
Driving & Logistics
- Driving the Founder to and from meetings, site visits, and events as needed
- Managing routes, timing, and schedules to maximise efficiency
- Ensuring the vehicle is clean, fuelled, and ready when needed
- Enabling the Founder to work during travel time (calls, preparation, notes)
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience supporting a Founder, CEO, or senior executive
- Comfortable managing both business and personal tasks with discretion
- Excellent written communication and organisational skills
- High emotional intelligence and strong judgement
- Calm, solution-oriented, and unflappable under pressure
- Happy to be hands-on — this is not a purely desk-based role
- Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record
- Flexible and reliable approach to hours and travel
