Office Administrator Exeter Permanent - Full-time office hours Salary: £25,000

  • £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Are you a highly organised and proactive individual with strong administrative and financial skills? We’re seeking an Office Administrator to support the smooth running of a busy construction office and assist with key finance and operations duties.

This varied role will suit someone with excellent attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude

Key Responsibilities

  • Uploading invoices and post them accurately using Sage
  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations
  • Providing Administration support to the MD
  • Maintain and update company accreditations
  • To manage and organise the office and keep it running smoothly
  • Set up new project enquiries
  • Supporting the estimating teams and providing contract support
  • Monthly payroll support and assisting with payroll processing
  • Manage and pay subcontractor invoices, including CIS returns & statements
  • Support month-end tasks such as issuing sales invoices, maintaining the debtors list, and chasing outstanding debts

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong Administration background ideally working within Construction or a similar industry
  • Strong proficiency with financial systems and using Microsoft Excel and ideally Sage
  • Excellent organisational, time-management and communication skills
  • Adaptable and a confident team player who can think outside the box
