Planning Solicitor (NQ-3)
A well-established legal practice seeking a Planning Solicitor (NQ-3) to join it's team in Edinburgh or Glasgow.
The role offers exposure to a broad range of planning and consenting matters, supporting both private and public sector clients across Scotland. You will work on a mix of contentious and non-contentious work, gaining experience across development, infrastructure and regulated projects, with appropriate supervision and support.
The role will involve:
Advising on planning and consenting processes under Scottish legislation
Supporting applications, appeals, hearings and related procedures
Assisting with infrastructure, development and compulsory purchase matters
Working with colleagues across real estate and project-led teams
Drafting reports, agreements and advisory documents
Developing client relationships and contributing to team growth
About you:
Is Scots law qualified (or dual qualified), NQ-3
Has experience in, or a genuine interest in, planning and infrastructure law
May come from private practice, the public sector or an in-house background
Is organised, collaborative and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
Has strong drafting skills and a considered, detail-focused approach
