Campbell Grove Talent are recruiting for a confident and commercially minded Senior Finance Business Partner to join a large, well known organisation based on the outskirts of Thirsk.

This is a hands on commercial finance role, ideal for someone who thrives on partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing decision making across the wider business.

The successful candidate will bring strong business partnering and commercial accounting experience, with the credibility and communication skills to challenge and support non-finance teams.

You’ll take ownership of financial performance across assigned projects, clients, or business units, delivering high quality analysis and insight to drive commercial outcomes. Working closely with operational teams you’ll ensure budgets, forecasts, and KPIs are robust, accurate, and delivered to tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities:

• Partner with the Commercial Finance Manager to enhance forecasting models and improve reporting tools
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting cycle
• Provide clear, actionable financial insight to senior stakeholders across the business
• Prepare and present management accounts and project performance reporting
• Drive continuous process improvement and support best-in-class finance operations

About you:

• Ideally CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified
• Strong background in business partnering and commercial accounting
• Confident, proactive, and comfortable influencing senior non-finance stakeholders
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
• Advanced IT skills
