On behalf of Computershare, we are looking for a Project Manager - Fraud Risk Assessment Specialist for a 6 Month Day Rate Contract based in London/Bristol (hybrid).

The Project Manager - Fraud Risk Assessment Specialist is a Senior Person within the Financial Crime Unit (FCU) responsible for leading the identification, evaluation, and mitigation of fraud risks as it pertains to a Fraud Assessment Project within Computershare. This role ensures that fraud risk management frameworks are robust, effective, and aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices and will work and engage with Senior stakeholders within CPU.

The role holder will oversee other FCU staff engaged in the project and ensure that appropriate governance is followed and will attend regular briefings with stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct fraud risk assessments, scenario analysis, and user journey threat reviews
  • Identify emerging fraud trends, vulnerabilities, and control weaknesses
  • Recommend and oversee implementation of fraud prevention and detection controls
  • Partner with IT and operations to strengthen system safeguards and risk controls
  • Prepare clear, well documented fraud risk reports and governance outputs
  • Act as SME for fraud risk queries and provide regular stakeholder briefings
  • Lead and support FCU team members, ensuring quality, governance, and timely delivery

What you will bring to the role:

  • Experience in fraud, financial crime, risk, or compliance within financial services or legal environments
  • Proven leadership and team management experience, including coaching and mentoring
  • Solid understanding of fraud risk frameworks, governance, and regulatory expectations
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with GRC or fraud prevention systems
  • Up to date knowledge of fraud trends, prevention methods, and relevant legislation
