Solution Architect - Fianance ERP system experience

Insurance Experience

My client in the Insurance industry are seeking a Solution Architect, you will own the end-to-end architecture and technical leadership for the European Workday Financials Programme. You'll work closely with Group IT Enterprise Architecture (EA), senior leadership, delivery teams, and partners to ensure a consistent, robust, strategically aligned architecture.

As the Solution Architect you will be responsible for defining high-level and detailed solution architecture, governing key design decisions, ensuring compliance with frameworks (including DORA), and enabling successful delivery across multiple countries and regulatory environments.

Key Skills

• Essential - Expert in Finance Transformation consulting as a Solution Architect, with Workday Financials, or other ERP system experience.
• Essential - Proficient in deg and implementing integration's between Workday and other enterprise systems using APIs, middleware and legacy platforms.
• Desirable - Experience working in an insurance (preferably insurance broking) environment and good knowledge, understanding of insurance systems (preferably insurance broking platforms)
• Experience initiating and providing architecture leadership for large scale business-critical transformation projects
• Knowledge or good awareness of the London Insurance Market concepts and ways of transacting speciality business is desirable
• Good knowledge and awareness of enterprise-grade Finance and HR systems (Workday).
• Knowledge of working in a regulated environment e.g. FCA, PRA and wider regulatory, compliance environment for global insurance businesses (e.g. )
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence and Data platform technologies (e.g. Microsoft Fabric, Databricks etc.).
• Good knowledge of technology governance standards
• Good knowledge of technology best practice including SDLC
