• Hours: 9:00am - 4:30pm

The Role - School Librarian, Hounslow

As a School Librarian, you will support the day-to-day running of the school library, ensuring it remains a well-organised, welcoming, and effective learning space for students and staff.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and organising library resources and materials
• Supporting students with reading, research, and library use
• Assisting teaching staff with access to learning resources
• Maintaining a calm, professional, and inclusive library environment
• Supporting literacy and independent learning where required

Requirements:

• Previous school librarian or library-based experience is essential
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Confidence working with children and young people
• Professional, reliable, and punctual
• A genuine interest in education and supporting student learning
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Right to work in the UK
• Relevant professional references
