We partner with M&G to support their contingent recruitment processes. Acting as an extension of their recruitment teams, we connect them with skilled interim and temporary professionals, fostering workplaces where everyone can contribute and succeed.

On behalf of M&G, AMS are looking for a Business Analyst - for a 6-month contract based in London. It is a hybrid model working 2 days on site minimal.

Purpose of the role:

The Business Analyst will support the FCC Capability team to address gaps and deficiencies identified through regulatory reviews, audits, and internal compliance assessments. The role involves gathering requirements, deg solutions, and ensuring governance and control activities meet regulatory obligations and internal standards across impacted 2LOD areas.

What you'll do:

  • Review findings from regulatory audits, compliance testing, and gap assessments.
  • Translate regulatory obligations into actionable requirements.
  • Document current state processes and identify areas requiring attention.
  • Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and process maps.
  • Support design of target operating models, control enhancements, and process improvements.
  • Ensure traceability from regulatory requirements to implemented solutions.
  • Track progress and maintain accurate reporting for regulators and internal governance.
  • Ensure evidence and documentation meet audit and regulatory standards.
  • Support implementation of preventive and detective controls to mitigate future breaches.

The skills you'll need:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in regulatory change or financial crime projects.
  • Strong understanding of financial services regulations.
  • Experience in gap analysis, requirements gathering, and process design.
  • Experience within 2nd
  • Assurance experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
