Adele Carr Recruitmentis supporting a highly respected and well-established organisation on the Wirral who are looking to appoint a qualified Commercial Accountant on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.
This is a varied, high-profile role offering, real exposure to senior stakeholders across the business. You'll operate in a positive, collaborative working environment, within an organisation known for its strong culture, reputation and commitment to quality.
The contract has been deliberately structured to include a comprehensive handover at the start and a planned hand-back at the end, making it ideal for a professional who enjoys delivering clarity, insight, and continuity.
The Role
This is a commercially focused position combining analysis, financial modelling and business partnering.
- Partnering with senior stakeholders and budget holders, providing financial insight and challenge
- Leading budgeting, forecasting and re-forecasting processes
- Building and maintaining robust financial models to support planning and decision-making
- Producing clear, insightful management information and performance analysis
- Using data tools to gather, manipulate and present complex information in a meaningful way.
- Supporting strategic initiatives and ad hoc commercial analysis.
The Ideal Applicant
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
- Strong commercial finance experience in a stakeholder-facing role
- Advanced Excel capability and practical experience using VBA, SQL and Power BI for data extraction, automation and reporting
- Confident communicator able to present financial insight to non-finance stakeholders
- Organised, delivery-focused and comfortable working to defined timelines
