Account Manager

Macildowie are working with this client based in Leicester to recruit an Account Manager to join a well-established organisation

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Employment****Type: 12 month fixed term contract, Full-time

The Role: You'll work closely with the external sales team to manage a portfolio of existing clients while supporting new business opportunities. You'll coordinate projects from initial enquiry through to order placement, ensuring a seamless customer experience across multiple departments including product development, sampling, order processing, planning, and QC.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and develop designated customer accounts

Liaise with internal departments and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery

Process customer requirements and maintain accurate records

Request and negotiate supplier quotes and conduct cost analysis

Achieve agreed KPIs and contribute to business objectives

About You:

Minimum 2 years experience in account management or purchasing, ideally in manufacturing or production

Strong communicator with the ability to build lasting relationships

Comfortable using Excel, Word, and general IT systems
