Academics is working with an Outstanding specialist school in Brent to recruit a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their established provision. This SEN Teacher role involves supporting pupils aged 4 to 19 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and complex learning needs, helping them to access personalised education and development pathways.
Role Overview
- Start Date: April 2026
- Salary: £37,870 - £52,000 (Inner London Pay Scale)
- Location: Borough of Brent
- Position: SEN Teacher - SEN Primary School
- Requirement: Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
As an experienced SEN Teacher, you will deliver structured and highly adapted programmes rooted in inclusive education and training, ensuring each learner receives the support they need to thrive. This Brent-based provision is committed to nurturing independence, communication, and life skills within a supportive and values-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and support pupils aged 4-19 with Autism and Complex Needs
- Plan and deliver personalised lessons tailored to individual EHCP outcomes
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and senior leaders
- Promote communication, independence, and emotional regulation
- Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
