On Behalf of Arup, we are looking for a Business Change Manager for an initial 6 month contract (with strong potential of extension) based in London.

Purpose of the role

This role sits at the heart of Arup's global APEX transformation programme, supporting the move to a single, consistent way of working across regions, systems and teams. As Business Change Manager, you'll help translate complex technology and process change into practical, adoptable ways of working, ensuring new tools, frameworks and processes are understood, embedded and delivering value across the business.

What you'll do

  • Work with global stakeholders to understand current ways of working and identify gaps, risks and inefficiencies.
  • Lead discovery and requirements-gathering activities through workshops, interviews and data analysis.
  • Design and support the implementation of structured operational frameworks across learning, reporting and project delivery.
  • Support project delivery by tracking progress, dependencies and impacts across multiple workstreams.
  • Drive adoption of new tools and processes through stakeholder engagement, training and change activity.

The Skills you'll need

  • Strong experience in business change, transformation, business analysis or project delivery within large programmes.
  • Proven ability to design and implement operational processes or frameworks.
  • Experience running workshops, gathering requirements and translating them into clear, practical solutions.
  • Confidence working with data, metrics and reporting to inform decisions and track outcomes.
  • Experience working in Agile or fast-moving delivery environments, ideally within global or matrix organisations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence when needed.
