Gas & Plumbing Supervisor £30 per hour Reading

We are seeking an experienced **Trade Supervisor

• Gas & Plumbing** to lead gas engineers, plumbers, and specialist subcontractors delivering repairs, servicing, and maintenance across housing stock. This is a hands-on supervisory role focused on keeping homes safe, warm, and compliant while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee allocation and sequencing of gas and plumbing works
• Monitor productivity, quality, and performance
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with health & safety and gas safety legislation
• Supervise operatives on site; deliver toolbox talks and 1:1s
• Check van stock, tools, and equipment
• Provide technical guidance to ensure work is completed right first time and within deadlines

Requirements

• Qualified Gas & Plumbing professional
• Current domestic gas certifications: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1
• Recognised apprenticeship or City & Guilds qualification
• Strong technical knowledge and leadership skills
• Ability to assess performance, manage compliance, and supervise operatives and subcontractors
• Good communication skills and IT proficiency
• Experience in a responsive repairs environment
