Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a GCP Data Architect to lead the foundational architecture of a new GCP data platform and landing zone for an insurance data consultancy. You'll design and implement a scalable, secure, and high-performance data environment, leveraging BigQuery, Dataform, and IAM security best practices.

The Role

As a GCP Data Architect, you will play a key role in deg and implementing the company's GCP data platform from the ground up. You will be responsible for:

  • Architecting and deploying a scalable GCP data platform and landing zone.
  • Deg BigQuery-based data warehouses optimized for performance and efficiency.
  • Implementing Dataform workflows for data transformation and modeling.
  • Defining IAM security policies to ensure access control and compliance.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to align architecture with business needs.
  • Providing best practices for governance, monitoring, and cost optimization.

Key Skills & Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Strong experience deg and deploying GCP data architectures.
  • Expertise in BigQuery, Dataform, and IAM security.
  • Experience setting up landing zones and managing cloud governance.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data modeling for cloud-based analytics.
