KS1 Primary Teacher (SEND/SEMH) Full Time or Part Time, Maternity Cover Salary: Starting from £38,000 Start: March 2026 or ASAP thereafter
We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our community and take on the position of Primary Teacher to cover a period of maternity leave on a full or part time basis. The appointed candidate will predominantly work with our younger children (aged 7 to 8) with key responsibilities to include creating a learning culture & experience for pupils who find it a challenge to engage with a full programme of onsite learning, and to work with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis to reengage them with onsite learning. Due to the nature of our provision, it would be highly advantageous if you have existing knowledge, experience and/or awareness around the Eary Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
Key responsibilities of the position will be to design and deliver teaching and learning at KS1 in accordance with the aims of the School and in pursuit of high standards of pupil achievement. You will also assist in the managing and developing of a given class and/or a group of pupils, contribute to an appropriate environment for pupil learning and ensure high levels of engagement with staff, pupils, parents and the wider learning communities. QTS is an essential requirement for this role.
